Changing a Conservatory to an Orangery Shenfield Essex

Acacia have been finishing another Orangery project in Shenfield, Essex

This project was originally a conservatory and we have been changing it into a beautiful orangery with new oak french doors connecting it to the house.

All orangeries have a flat roof around the lantern, construction materials have moved on in recent years to give a long lasting finish and the best durability, we used EPBM; a rubber product on the flat roof.

This orangery has clean lines and modern look which compliments the house.  Acacia Conservatories can take a tired old UPVC conservatory and make a new and contemporary orangery for a modern home

Constructing an Orangery

At Acacia Conservatories we make hardwood and UPVC orangeries. Here you can see an orangery under construction,  on day three out on site. The clip shows the orangery windows frames in place, the sashes and doors will be added later. Flitch beams that have been constructed around metal plates  support the orangery lantern roof.

Acacia Conservatories have recently finished an Orangery in Writtle, Essex. On popping back to check with the owner. The customer had a newly installed wood burner, both the orangery and the roaring wood burner make an attractive sight on a cold November afternoon.
